A young man was crossing a bridge with God, he was so scared due to the monstrous wind that was blowing, and he asked God a question ’’can I hold your hand so that I won’t fall into the river?” and God said, ”No my child, I should hold your hand” he asked” what’s the difference” God replied, ”if you hold my hand and something happens you might let go off me, but if I hold your hand, no matter what happens I would never let go off you. Applicable, a lot of Christians think that God has abandoned them in the midst of their troubles, thinking they are all alone to themselves. The condition of the problems is becoming unbearable that they thought God has completely abandoned them. God can never abandon you, in as much as he has promise to keep you to the end of the journey. Many at times do I experience the hand of God turning my hurdles around; It is we humans that abandon him the moment we experience whirlwind. Even if the hurdles of life seem to rise higher than you can jump, never let the rise weary you down. He can choose to lift you high than the hurdle, or pave way through it, just hold reverently to him.
Something important you ought to know is that God did not promise day without pain. Neither, did he promise laughter without sorrow, and He didn’t shine sun without rain. But he did promise strength for the day, comfort for the pain, and light for the way. If God bring you to it, He will bring you through it. Remember; worry does no good to no one but to waste time, good and bad happens to everyone, don’t stress over what you can’t control, let things be as God designated it.
