Leadership is not about the status you profess or the position you occupy in the society, but your contribution to people’s lives. We are born and revive in Christ to reign in this life and in the life after. God has made us King and priest in His kingdom, thus we must therefore show fruits of leadership in our everyday live.
However, let your prioress cement on you serving humanity, rather than humanity serving you. When you serve people, they all benefitting you, but when peoples serve you, you alone benefit the servitude. The reason why the Pharisee cannot easily and earlier lay their hand on Jesus was because he lives a humility life. Often, had he played the role of servant to the disciples and the multitude, he demand the assist of Judas Iscariot to identifies him. A leader that tends to peoples demand or un-demand, or a service provider will not lack people around him or her, and this will help prevent the enemy from breaking in.
Wherever God places us, we are to be the light bearer. The world is in darkness, and people are looking for true light bearers to show them the way. Ignorantly, most people do not know that their little contribution to the development of other peoples is a fruit of leadership. Good leaders are Christ like. Good leaders fear God, Good leaders considers others as first priority, and render services as unto the LORD. When you use your God given talent to enhance people’s lives, you are leading in that aspect. Finally, to everyone is a leader, but the problem is, many fails to embrace his/her responsibilities. Stop seeking for leaders but be the leader you want to see in the world.
