Two women were tarried in the state of barrenness for long time, and they had encountered a servant of God. He asked them to observe seven days fasting and prayers as led by the Holy Spirit. One among the two obeyed and observed the fasting, while the other had to seek medium elsewhere. She consulted a sorcerer and within a given period, both equate results and got pregnant. And at the fullness of time they both delivered. The woman that waited on God had a son who later became successful in life, while the other woman’s son turned out a notorious criminal, a menace to the mother and to the society.
Impatience is capable of making its observer vulnerable to Satan’s product, and also reflects the weakness in us. Often times, I see people becoming victim of their lack of patience; when life gets tough and challenges, they easily adopt a negative perspective and swing into seeing options where there are none and inadvertently creating more problems still.
1 Samuel 28:8 says, So Saul disguised himself; he put on different clothes, and after dark he went with two of his men to see the woman. ”Consult the spirits for me and tell me what is going to happen. ”he said to her.” Call up the spirits of the man I name.
It is obvious how impatience had to lead Saul into abandoned God’s to a medium woman. You know, life fracture us all into little pieces, it harms us, but, it’s how we glue those pieces back together that make us stronger- Carrie Jones. However, It is a known fact, that what is not original can only last for a moment. When one exercises patience, it will be very hard for such person lured or con by satanic enticement.
