It was faith that made Moses , When He had grown up, refuse to be called the son of the king’s daughter. He preferred to suffer with God’s people rather than to enjoy sin for a little while. He reckoned that to suffer scorn for Messiah was worth far more than all the treasure in Egypt, for He kept his eyes on the future reward. Hebrew 11:24-26
Positive response is very crucial, because it shows a sense of maturity to handle the event of life. And to every purpose that will have worthwhile effect carries some seed of hardship, toughness, with a date and time for expiratory. For instance, Little did the Israelites realize that they are moving out of Egypt on purpose, their inabilities to endure the hardship of their purpose ,stirred them into murmuring and converted the journey of forty days into became forty years. Apparently, on the road to fulfilling purpose lies wilderness experiences; such as challenges, difficulties, obstacles among many other wilderness experiences. In the same veil; there’s an expiring date for every wilderness encounters. But, we can as well prolong our wilderness experience through lack of perseverance, by the way of complaining , murmurous ,and blaming God just like the Israelites. Exodus 14:11 says, They said to Moses, ”weren’t there any graves in Egypt? Did you have to bring us out here in the desert to die? Look what you have done by bringing us out of Egypt.
Purpose usually attracts opposition as long as you lived. Anytime you are moved to complain during a wilderness experience you are fulfilling Satan’s agenda to keep you in the wilderness forever. Do not forget that blaming or deviating from God in times of your wilderness experiences can either put an end to your purposes or prolong your journey in the passage of wilderness. Joshua and Caleb were men of purpose, they did not hesitate to confront the city of giants, and in return they stepped into the promise land. Finally, countless people of purpose had turned their wilderness into comfort, because purposefulness heal quicker the sore of wilderness and provokes exploit.
