As we step into this New year, I want to challenge you with few words to seek God in this year, more than you sought Him in the previous years. Have it at the back of your mind that the world is getting hotter everyday as we entering the crucial stage of the end-time, things are becoming more unstable and the coming of our LORD Jesus Christ is drawing closer. To be honest, Years ahead will experience more hard time than the former years. And many will be the affliction of God’s children, and of those who are chasing after the mundane material. Matthew 24:6 says, you are going to hear the noise of battles close by and news of battles far away; but do not be trouble. Such things must happen, but they do not mean that the end has come.
Christ has notified us, concerning the events that would occur at the era of end-time, which is happening right away. Most of Christ prophesy about the event that will take place had been coming to realities. The love for material things has sprout rapidly among the church, and in the world, in general. Hence, now is the best time to draw nearer to God and forsake the world and its lust therein. Brethren, I urge you to pray more, study more the word of God, evangelize more, give more and love more. The world is ebbing away like smoke, time is short, let us come back to our maker and creator while the day is still bright. Finally, there are so many hurdles of both seen and unseen that lies in wait as we move on in the year, to be able to triumph require we envelop ourselves in the arm of God. The same God who granted us the ability to start the year is faithful and able to lead us through the year with no cause for fear. Move on to a greater thing ahead and be on the lookout for the coming back of our Lord Jesus Christ.
