Congratulation to everyone who made it into another fresh year. I strongly believed that we don’t just made it through the past year, but also achieved our target and purposes over the forgone year. It’s delight me to inform you that, there are far better things waiting ahead in these new year than any best things we left behind in the past year. If you wish to be successful, happy, right from the beginning of the year, then it is about time to leave behind in the past year, your troubles and failure. The best step towards getting somewhere in this New year, is to decide that you are not going to stay where you were last year, irrespective of how favorable, or unpleasant is it. Genesis 13:8-9 says, Then Abram said to Lot ”We are relatives, and your men and my men shouldn’t quarrelling. So let’s separate. Choose any part of the land you want. You go one way, and I’ll go the other.”
For Abraham to excel exceedingly, He had to move from place to places, despite all the possessions acquired. And he come to realization that being in the same vicinity with Lot’s would slow down their success, he told Lot to forge his path as he does himself. Beloved; until you approach this New Year with different perception and action, it is possible you have the same result of the previous year. However, you ought to venture into the year with no string of the past year, and expect a difference result. Expect a positive change to come if only you apply a new pattern. There are some certain people you need to evacuate, those who are to slow down your movement. And make some resolute change, such as your pattern, your old way of lifestyle, and add more zeal to your involvement. And to earn a prosperous year is to first commit the activities therein into God’s hand. No matter your best plan for the year, it is limited to what God have in store for you. Trust in the Lord as you journey the year with him.
